There always seems to be a valid reason for the defence and ultimate release of convicted criminals, in this case on the grounds of mental health. Apparently he suffered from bi polar disorder. As gordon brown put it this country is opposed to the death sentence in all cases, (WHY).Did anyone ask the opinion of joe public in this country. Sorry but i dont subscribe to that point of view, my opinion is when in rome do as the romans do. Im pretty sure this country would be a better place if a lot of murdering scum were disposed of , instead of languishing in UK prisons at the taxpayers expense. poacher3161 1,766 Posted December 29, 2009 Report Share Posted December 29, 2009 I found this story astonishing in the way it brought all the do gooders out of the woodwork i am just thankfull they did not get their own way.One of his relatives was speaking on the news about is condition that had been assesed only through e.mails he had sent but she could not exsplain how he funded his life in poland were he had lived for a few years.I would say a very high percentage of heroin that reaches this country is now through eastern europe trafficed by the scum who has been executed. What is this country coming to? Tony Martin got locked up a few years ago for defending his property from thieves, people get more compensation claiming prejudice at work than one of our brave lads injured fighting in Afghanistan/Iraq and we let the only person convicted of the Lockerbie bombing go on compassionate grounds.
