kev1986 0
i have gotta say i never thought id say this but i love that the sales are on as the mrs has been out shopping again today so i said ill leave you to go with your mam and our daughter ya know a ladies day out n all little did they know i had an assasination planned i went off to the woods on my permission about 1500hrs as soon as i entered the woods i seen 5 squirrells chasing each other up a tree i was a bit close to the road so walked a bit further in to get a bit more cover from the main road and took aim at one sat about 20 yards away as soon as i picked him up in scope he darted around tree so i lowered gun to have a look were they gone and there was one sat about 8 yards infront of me so i put about 2mil dots hold under on his head and fired which i missed he then darted up a tree and off he went so i followed and he sat about 25 yards in tree so i put half a mil under on his head and let lead fly and he dropped like a stone removing the eye and half of his nasty little face i look high and low for the rest but they gone so walked a bit further and i seen one sat in the open field with nut in mouth (lucky bstard ) he seen me and ran like mad towards trees to i waited till he got to tree he climbed abotuu 10 yards up the tree and froze about 30 yards away from me so i put cross straight on his head and let the accupell remove his brain which it did very nicely i then was finding it hard to see properly in the tree tops as the sun was so bright just before sun set i spotted loads but when getting in range lossed them in the trees due to the light etc but i spotted one sat on the ground in the woods at the bottom of a silver birch but he moved behind the tree poking his nose out the other side i rekon it was about 35 yards so i put about .5 mil hold over and released the accupell watching it his the tree next to mr squizzer he then rn and scarpered so i followed him for about 40 yards till he stopped about 40 yards away at a v in the tree i rested against tree as i couldnt keep it steady enought free standing and squeezed trigger with about 2 mil dot hold over on his chest and watched him drop on his back and do a few kung fu kicks before goin to sleep i have never shot in these woods before as i normally just pass through to my other permission but have now found there is hundreds of squzers in there so we will mee again atb kev [media][/media Edited December 28, 2009 by kev1986 Quote Link to post

kev1986 0
a few years ago i used to just sit hidden away and get 2 x 10p and rub them together so it sounds like a chattering and they used to come out looking for you so that my next plan one day this week i am going to try and sit under a roost tree aswell to try kill 2 birds with one stone Quote Link to post

kev1986 0
cheers si i am using accupell at the minute but as you seen they sit a bit loose in breech so i have just got some of the new webley venom xtreme and the skirt is 5.8mm and the head 5.2 so they seal really well and they 15.2gr so a bit more weight will let you know how i get on with targets etc Quote Link to post
