Nith Grayling

Recommended Posts

I had my first grayling trip of the season today. As I drove the 3 miles to the car park I was begining to think I was mad, the temperature gauge in the car was showing minus 8 degrees:ohmy.gif and that was at 12.15pm

Not to be deterred I parked up at Kirkbog and got tackled and wrapped up. I was fishing a brammie worm with the float, didn't do too well but at least I didn't blank.smile.gif

Here's some pics from today.

Had another go for the grayling today, must say I found it hard going. Only got the three grayling and lost a few more, the best stretched to 43cm.smile.gif

It felt warm here today, it was zero degrees which was a big temp rise compared to Mondays minus 8.biggrin.gif But when the sun started to slide behind the Keir hills it was time to head for the car.
