Ive just bought a new HDD camera myself and adaptor and am going to make some footage with the scope cam. Si Excellent news Si. I'll be looking forward to the new videos and the "through the scope shots" showing holdover/windage adjustments etc. If you've seem all of Emma's videos (Synpercat and Cubleycat)you'll see how good this view can be. jenksi87 3
how much would a scope cam set you back? Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
Jenks, I bought a 60GB Panasonic SDR-H81 HDD video camera with 70x optical zoom for £219 in Currys, but there are cheaper ones in there and much more expensive ones too. The 37mm to 43mm camera adaptor was from EBay for around £3 The 3.5 inches of 40mm plummers pipe was about £3 as i had to buy a foot and cut it down to 3.5 inches. The glue gun i already had, but they are about £5 from Wilkos. The reason i needed 40mm was because my Tasco eye peice is 40mm. The rubber fixing grommit that i am going to use to fix the pipe to the eyes piece was about £1. Zini.
