nighttimenellie 4
Started an mole job two weeks before christmass but the snow and frost has put it on hold, it will turn out to be the biggest one so far and at a guess up tp 150 moles i hope will come off the ground as i have barely done a quarter and the tally is at 45 (pic of 38 as the farmer had seen the first 7 and i was keeping them as proof but he seems to trust me so wasnt bothered about the rest) have had some nice touches setting 15 traps in one field and getting 9, 17 in another and getting another 9, then 28 and getting 12, and last 12 and getting 6, so not a bad ratio all in all(setting to the set 2 to catch 1 theory) Quote Link to post

nighttimenellie 4
Had a rabbit and mole job come in from a multi millionair fella that lives round our way(wont say his name a bit of discretion might be better for me, but what a right nice lad he is)and have been ferreting and snaring his rabits Ian, have learnt how little i know on the snaring side as i fence snared one fence line but the runs looked dead so i just snared the obvious runs even they were poor, but every morning there has been rabbits to pick up, Giro and I are lamping the ground tonight so i will get to see where i stand numbers wise. The moles were a nightmare, a stream had been widened to make a pond and all the gravle and stones must have been piled into the field (a few years back) so trying to find the runs and then removing the stones ruined the tunnels it was hard going but worth it in the end Quote Link to post
