What you will have to do is go to a range or a large field and set out targets at 5m or yard intervals.

 

Shoot the bulls eyes on each target on x9 mag and see where the pellet impacts on the mil dots when looking through the scope.

 

Note where each one falls and then remember them.

 

Next time you come across a target estimate the range to it and then use your new mil dot method to hit the target cleanly.

Cheers zini I have got the hold over sorted upto 50 yards it's the range estimation I'm finding hard at 30meters on 9X mag does a rabbits head cover from the centre of the reticule to the first mil dot from base of ears to top of neck for example. Next time I get a rabbit I will test this unless anyone has done so already.

you can down load it and print of a BRC for ya scope, and job done.then all you have to do is guess the range.

I Know its illegal to shoot 'Game' on xmas day, but do the GL's state this animal must not be shot at this time?

Its also very rude to call people on here Muppets, Slingshot.

 

As far as I was aware i was shooting vermin on that day, not game and if it was illegal i didnt know it was or i wouldnt of done it.

 

A friend of mine as showed me the rules and it does state that bird pests are not to be shot on that day but as i didnt know, its too late so what can i do but remove the thread and say sorry for offending people.

 

Ill remove the video and edit the thread.

it clearly says that no game is to be shot on xmas day and not vermin so therefore thou shall go ahead and remove there brains xmas or not
