me and a mate has just went halfs on a lure machine to keep dogs fit in summer time my mate is going to use it to bring on his pup i no these thing are not as good as a dog working real game but think there good pieces of kit if use right we thought it could be good if we could get bit of ground and get some like minded lurcher men who are looking to run there dogs in summer to keep them fit could be good day out watch your dogs run have a pint after (private lurcher club lol)anybody interested if we could make this happen think mite have a farmer up for it as long as we behave lol

You will get lots of interest on here but when it comes to it most dont turn up but once work gets around it will pick up. i been running my club bout 5 months now and its going very well.I have templates of flyers i put up @ country parks,pet shops,newsagents etc etc which ill gladdly forward you just to change location etc.check out my website teessidelurcherclub.co.uk for ideas.Good luck

ive got 1 and plenty ground to run it on i run both my dogs and have a pup to run next summer fife anytime you want it keeps them fit

there,s a whippet track at cumnock ,,east aryshire w,r,c,,,,,,,,that run in summer that would let ur lurcher trail,,,,,,,

and kirkcaldy w,r,c,,,,,,,,,in summer months,,,,,,,,,,,i supplied the lure at lurcher meeting this year ,,think it was april or may ,,,,,its good to see dog,s gettin a run,,,although its just a lure there chasing,,,,they dont have love it ,,beats sitting in a kennel all summer

so does the whippet club book the track be good if we could get load of running dogs from here and have day at the races so to speak
