honesthunter 13
I was out with the family an hour or so ago, just walking the mutt through the woods, two bloody huge Alsatians come out of nowhere and put griff on his back instantly, (he is a very submissive dog around other dogs - especially Alsatians) the bloke was walking over but dead slow, and I mean dead slow, while me and my dad tried to grab the more aggressive dogs collar, most people would shift the moment their dog goes for someone elses, but no, this guy just ambled over like it was nothing, anyway, griff got up and moved away towards me and dad, trying to get behind us, and the bigger of the two went for him again, by this time i was pissed, the bloke only just got over to us at that point, and started shepherding the dogs away after my dad said 'can you take them away please' - his version of losing his temper, anyway I watched the guy make no move to put the GSD on a lead, so i said ' you wanna put him on a lead mate' and the c*nt goes, 'I don't see yours on a lead' (by now voices were raised, and i shouted 'well mines not aggressive mate' The dick head comes back with 'nor are they' (despite the obvious evidence to the contrary), anyway, cant remember what I said next but he said some sh*t about Alsatians always getting the blame, I didn't say that I wasn't blaming the breed but was blaming his poor handling, because my dad was angry with me at this point. yes I was angry, yes I shouted, but in my opinion I was completely right to do so. if my family hadn't been there I might have launched myself at him, which would have maybe been an overreaction, but still not much of one. and yes griff is a dog, but he's an old one and part of the family, I'm always going to protect my own. atb hh
WHITEYrs4 29
Very strange similar thing happened to me in the summer my mrs took out my beddy whippet for a walk same type of thing happened to her as the alsation was three times the size so she come back up and I told her to take ryfud down. She doesnt usually walk ryfud as he is too strong anyway cut a long story short she let ryfud off the alsation come up and tried to square up to ryfud and ryfud walked around and pi**ed on the floor he started walking back to my mrs and then the alsation came back and started squaring up to him again. Within the blink of an eye he had the alsation upside down on the floor by his neck me and my mrs had to run over and get him off, I got him off and the alsation run off with the owner chasing it up the hill! The moral to this story theres always a bigger DOG...

BULLDOUG 199
Has to be my pet hate, a law should be passed that everyone should use (at least) basic obedience. ATB Dougie

The moral to this story theres always a bigger DOG... Always liked the look of that Ryfud dog! I no longer take my dogs to public parks because of irresponsible twats like this. It happened again last week - chavette pushing a pram, sucking on a fag and two out of control large dogs. They think it is ok to let their dogs harass others, especially if those other dogs are smaller and likely to come out worse off. I swore my next dog was going to be a Rottweiler!
