hawks and dogs

hi i was just wandreimg if there was any thing i can do to get my bird and me dogs to work together ? my harris hawk is 4 years old (stella )i got her off a mate of mine who didnt have time for her . ive allways had males and they been ok with dogs . now when my mate got this female she locked onto someones boarder terrier , needless to say there was hell on , he thought he was gonna get a big vet bill but the dog was ok , i keep the bird and the dogs preety much together in the yard ie kennels next to aivery , but she sometimes trys to grab hold of em and i dont really trust her with them , its a pitty as i think i would get more quarry if i was able to take my border out with her as she is mint at flushing out cover. any body got any ideas ??

she should get used to him bein around after awhile in the garden then just take them out together and keep her on the fist and let her watch your dog flushing some bunnies, she will soon learn hes theres to help and not food..

had same problem with my female harris 1 lr old went to scotland in sept with some mates and each time mates springer came near she screamed at it as said i kept her on fist and only slipped her for flights by end of the week she didnt even bother with dogs and was watching them knowing that they put rabbits out.
