Managed these couple of snaps a few days back, only in view for a couple of seconds, zoomed right out and cropped quite a bit.. o.k, my fiver is on it being a sparrowhawk, but these were taken right beside a large forestry block, and there are Gos's just down the road from here, so.. the question is, how do you distinguish a Sparrowhawk from a Gos at hight when trying to scale them is soooo difficult?? Look forward to your replies.. :thumbs:

Come on folks,.... say what you think, all opnions welcome! i'm hoping and praying its a Gos! Must admit as it drifted overhead for those few breif seconds it bore no resemblance to a sparrowhawks usual flight path of hugging the contors of the land and swooping up over hedges, but, then again, could the same be said of the Gos? :thumbs:

could the way you describe it as "drifting overhead"have any connection with it,just a thought,not very up on the flight of these two
