xmas campaign for drink drivers

Recommended Posts

first time in my life i was pulled over by the filth for to take a breatheliser. I hadnt done nowt wrong , just takin our lass to work and me and the two cars behind were waved in to pull up. Copper says " its nowt to do with me its just my orders from above". Well please bear in mind that the night before I had 1 bottle of wine , 4 cans of lager and about half a bottle of Vodka, so as you can guess I was shittin it a bit.The polis says there are 3 poss outcomes , 1, Fail . 2,pass... means alcohol in the breath but not illegal , and 3. zero. All sorts goes through my mind and I realise that without my car I am fecked as is our lass cos she dont drive. It takes about 2 mins of shittin bricks and up comes the outcome ZERO , couldnt believe it. I have been a fireman for 32 years and have seen first hand the result of drunken drivers and I would never do that... however the morning after is something I will take into consideration from now on , merry xmas all.

ps support ya local hunt on boxing day.

Regardless of what your job is or how much you have had to drink the night before or that night, do not drink and drive.

I've lost two friends to drink drivers and I have no sympathy for them whatsoever. They walk away with their life, the other innocent driver has his life taken from him.

I would love to see drink drivers given the same sentences as manslaughter, I hate them with a passion. If you suspect you are over the limit don't drive and if you are pulled over, then don't complain if you are not intoxicated, they are pulling people over to stop those who are from taking innocent lives. I believe that.

Drive safe.

Well said. My neighbour died as a result of a drunk driver. Xmas is a sad time for her daughter and granddaughter left behind.
