sore pads

my saluki whippet x bull greyhound has got funny looking big back pads they have like furry skin on them and look different to any other pad ive ever seen and they are always rubbing off it can happen on soft ground aswel,does anyone have this problem or any advise as to stop it, i rub sudo crem on them everyday to soften them it is not happening as much as before but does still happen it is annoying because it cant run until healed and then it happens again

Hi mate, don't use sudo cream this will only keep the pads soft,Swifty's right with the salt water and par's spot on with Tough Foot I've never tried mushers secret,atb.

i thought that being soft would make them worse but it seems to be when they are hard it happens maybe there is no give or something, i think its just she has very bad pads she is 2year old so its not a puppy thing
