inan 841
just purchased some recharge. might sound stupid but how do i get my dog to take some after a night out as he wont drink on command :11: We used to carry a bottle on the coursing field ,youknow the ones with the top ,you put pressure on the plastic bottle and put the end in the side of the dogs mouth, making sure it is in the side ,behind the big canine teeth ,otherwise you can squirt it into the lung, you can add it to their normal water or put a drop over their meal, you know how to check for dehydration ,I take it?push the dogs coat back against the lie ,if its slow returning ,the dog is dehydrated, you can put recharge in milk or a dish of tea whatever the dog will take ,its only an electroylite, that replaces the elemnts that are lost through exertion ,as the cooler nights come you probably wont need it,I mfind those Dextro enrgy tablets quite good ,you can get them from most chemists ,they arent expensive ,but not all dogs like them. Recharge? If geven at the right time then this is a good fluid/energy replacement This sort of thing was in fashion around me 10 years ago and used before a night /day out but people realized it has the ability to mask injuries and faded out .I know your not doing it mate but dont be tempted to run the dog on instant energy . Recharge is an electroylite nothing more ,it will not make a dog run if he is injured ,Ive used it on the coursing feild for 20 years ,and before that something similar, some guys used honey mixed with tea ,none of the electroylites or home made remedies will mask an injury
