Sauer 202 Consistency Problems

I have fitted a harris bi-pod to my Sauer 202. The forestock doesn't like the weight of a PES moderator and I think is touching the barrel when I fire causing all sorts of consistency problems. Is there a rifle stock out there which I can drop the action and barrel into which will enable me to use the bipod? Thanks Simon

try checking to see if the barrel is free floating with the moderator on only.... then check to see if its free floating with the mod and bi pod fitted then you will know were the problem is....!!!

As S.S. say's check you barrel if free floating? as you could be tightening bi-pod and stopping it free floating, that will cos you problems, maybe 1 shot ok then the other way off

Its not that simple with the Sauer 202 mate as they have a two piece stock. Having said that i've got a Harris on mine and P8 which seems ok. Best take it to a gunsmiths to check out.
