badger 91
i do a "squeeze gut" when in the field on a warm day and it will be a while to get back to the house, it empties the intestines but not the heart and lungs. once you know how, it takes less than 2 minutes to skin and gut a rabbit. My wife can do it in under a minute, no kidding. I don't know about the UK, but here in the states always be sure to check for spots on the liver, and good luck and have fun Edited September 21, 2006 by badger Quote Link to post
jpt 285
Cheers for all the comments you lot. My mate has helped me skin and gut the bunny today and the ferret shall be enjoying the fresh meat tonight. It turns out the rabbit was healthy. We checked for white spots and there were none. Its eyes were knackard because of the way I dispatched it. BIG UP 'BUSTER FERRET' JPT Quote Link to post

jpt 285
Got another tonight! I cant believe my luck. He chased a sitter for about 50 meters and forced it to panic which made it tumble. It then ran into a dyke full of water and I thought it had gotten away but he managed to get it. I am mega pleased with him. More work for Mr. Buster! JPT Quote Link to post
