Mk3 Test

Recommended Posts

Evening all, just asking to see if there is anyone in the Liverpool area that has a Mk3 Ferret Finder(Hi-vis/Orange one) & Collar that i can visit to try my Mk3 finder and collar that i have just done a swap for, to test my box out on there collar and vice versa, there box on my collar as i think i may have been ripped off. (Not anyone off here by the way)

Hopefully it is just me doing something wrong. What is likely to break more so the receiver or the collar, can either of these be repaired, and anyone had repairs done? How much?

If it is my collar that's knackered is there anyone who wants to swap their MK3 collar for my Mk1 collar?

Any help is appreciated,

Steve.

why not post whats happening when you switch the mk3 on, it maybe something silly, save you needing to find someone

im in manchester bit far for you ,is warrington far from you as a i know a guy up there that may be able to help

when i turn mine on it makes a beep type noise & red light flashes (16+), if you turn it on inside your house it will go crackers with all the metal & wires , as stubby says, video the mk3 when you turn it on & post on here someone will be able to help

hope you get it sorted

Well thanks chaps sorted now, bit embarrassing really, spent 3 days thinking i had been ripped off :wallbash: , glad i kept trying as i would of hadsome apologising to do if i had saidanything to seller, but thought i'd best try everything before saying anything to him or going on the bounce.

Well as some probably guessed, had the 2 batteries in same way instead of 1 up 1 down.

HAHAHAHA school boy error :icon_redface: if you look closely inside the collar you can see little recessions which co-inside with which way the batteries go in for future reference :gunsmilie:
