Tobias 0
Has anyone used the ATN PS-22 night sight that clips on the front of your scope,Just asking because my friend has a starlight sight which goes on the back of your scope a gen2+ which the quality is great and he's shot lots of lamp shy rabbits and foxes out to 150yrds but i dont like the fact the sight goes on the back of your scope making you have to move the scope forwards and needing a stock exstender this makes it awkward if you want to then use the gun in the daytime as the scope is so far forwards, any feed back welcome as i like the ps-22 setup and im thinking of getting one soon. Thanks.

scottcountry 0
Hi I have used a PS-22 on a friends .30-06 which was attached to a Hawke Nite Eye, and i was less than impressed. As a hand held monocular it worked fine, out to 150meters, but attached to a scope it suffered from extensive parallax problems, and it wasnt very clear at all. £ for £ id go for a Pulsar Digisight to be honest. I have one fitted to my Air Arms S400 and for value for money is considerably better than most Gen 2 riflescopes on the market. The video below shows it handheld long range. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6w9yMIy-YaU Regards Paul
09mutley05 0
i would say the reason you weren't impressed with the ps22 would be because either the hawke nite eye scope on your friends 30 06 didnt have a side parrlex as needed with clip on unit, or the scope quility wasn't very good. i have a starlight archer which works graet but i was looking for a front mounted unit to avoid the problem of the length of pull being affected. i know that i had problems setting mine up to start with but got great results after alot of fiddling around, i use a leupold mark 4 scope on two rifles and can shoot 200plus yards if need with them. Keep with it im sure it will come good. let me know if you have any more encounters mutley
