Guest the eyes dont lie Posted December 21, 2009 Report Share Posted December 21, 2009 owned two bitches 3/4 greyhound 1/4 deerhounds they gave you everything they had easy to train and very loyal dogs very good on roe and they took to foxes in no time at all .sadly one died after eating a poisond carcas .used its sister after that for a good 4 or 5 years after that she acounted for many deer and foxes single handed .only down side was her feet stubbed toes etc .in my experience a good breed.atb t.e.d.l Quote Link to post

marky r 25 Posted December 22, 2009 Report Share Posted December 22, 2009 always been interested in these dogs specially for fox pre ban bet they cen shift? probably a daft question how fast are they compared to a greyhound or average lurcher we used to use a pure greyhound on foxes preban and the dog got up to them in no time they dint stand much of a chance.
