beagle or harrier?

just a question for you boys that run a few hounds on fox other than the 1st choice the fox hound whats better beagle or the harrier??

you ll need a horse with a harrier ,beagles are bad enough adam.good luck with what ever you decide

Beagle/basset

basset or basset crosses are the best for hunting fox on foot, easiest to keep up with anyway, with a big voice too.

hi mate. harriers are faster than a beagle but will put more to ground. yet a beagle will hunt all day and everything and we have had a great success from beagles i was told by a huntsman work them more fitter they get and longer they hunt so we used ours twice a week. good luck with whatever you choose
