why is my pup at 14 weeks pooing in the kennel??

My english springer is 14 weeks old now and for some reason if i put a blanket or quilt in her kennel she is sh!ting in there.

Can anyone tell me why and how to stop this.

leave out the blanket and quilt,try alternative bedding,mine are on straw,plenty of other things to try though :thumbs:

dose to much space make the soil their bedding? if so im really in the sh!t!

im about to build a kennel for my first gun dog (lab) the kennel is gona be 5x3 (with a bed/dog box kinda thing in it) and the run 7x5

could i be facing this problem?

no itse not the space mate its just the age of the dog she is only 14 weeks old got a lot to learn yet

my 2 dogs have the house to run around the dog has nevr had a pee int he garden never mind the house the pup i got did pee any were for the first 3 weeks now she is the same

it does not mater how much space they have its them they will get over it just needs time

no its not the space mate its just the age of the dog

 

I'd disagree I found when I cut the space down the bitch stopped pissing inside sleeping area

 

try reading the rest of what i w=sent to mate not just a little bit of it and answer that they have the run of the house and garden and do not piss or shit in it at all not many got run like that have they

got you now mate is your dog on its own to

 

It was at that time now doubled but no further repeats so far, I found keeping the sleeping area smaller and cosy fixed the problem
