Went out last night got smashed didnt get in until 3am,anyway up at 6 and set off to some new permission on the first time out, conditions were perfect and we were hoping to find some decent earths! 8am First earth we got a solid mark from all four dogs on a bank side we netted up and let little ( G ) Guenna have a run within 2 mins a big dog fox hit the net! Humanily dispatched him and on to next earth by 9.30 we found a great 3 eyed hole well pulled out near the stream with a good mark,hoping for a good 6ft dig by now it was bloody freezing!Nets on just to be safe this time we were going to try the retired dog at 10-11 yrs and seen alot of work Scrumpy,as brock was a bit swallen from the other day! We decided to keep scrump retired and dropped little G in again,after 3-4 mins a little vixen hit the net,wasnt happy i was freezing!

 

Moved on up the ditch tracking two foxes it was looking good we found and earth with pads going in both together looked like a dog and a vixen but one set of pads left the earth and the other was still at home got a good mark off the dogs and dropped in G once again for a hatrick let her settle for 20mins and got a mark of 3-4ft broke through and dispatched the apatche fox with some cracking markings!

 

We tracked alot of foxes today alot of coupled and trebled prints we only covered quater of the permission taking our time looking for earths,sadly we lost most of the tracking as the snow came in! We called it a day with 3 in the bag,a hatrick for G and a very happy keeper! Two dogs a vixen!

Brock had a hell of a day the other day the photo does it no justice,he never stays still enough for a decent photo,we will definately sort a day out soon spoke to the lads today about it!
