Im regularly in the Brampton area, there are loads of Roe, and the very odd Red about the area. Thats it.

best spot for deer near brampton id say would be lowther estate but don't know what the situation is with permission i think its more of a paying sport thingy! but if you head into the lake district there are loads of deer especially in the woods around the lakes and on the fells etc owned by the forestry commision and them lot.

i think there is deer round all the outskirts of carlisle but not in huge numbers. usually see them in 2s,3s and 4s etc by the sides of woods looking off the roads

but if your into fishing theres a good trout farm in brampton with big browns and rainbows

There is no red deer at all at Brampton...

 

Loads od roe in the surrounding areas... Its poached to death and Hard to get permission around there...
