Feeding 11 week old pup

i have had my pup now for a week and just wondering the right way to feed it.

 

i have been feeding it 4 times a day ,leaving it for 10 mins then taking it away.

 

is this the best way to do it or should i have food down all the time?

Thats what I did [bANNED TEXT], and my lurcher did fine that way. On the other hand my brother in law keeps food down all day and his pups are doing just fine too, not putting on to much weight or anything. I think its probably personal preference but maybe someone else on here might have a different view on this.

dont leave food down all day mate ,tends to make them inconsistent eaters,imo,when adult i want mine eat the lot in one when the time is right,ie home from lamping for example

same age as my pup mate, i feed her in morning give her 20 mins then pick it up same at dinner and tea and she is coming on strong, but it is personal preference i think, i only pick the food up cos the other 2 greedy bleeders will have it !!!!!!!!!!!

I always prefer mine to eat when they are given their food, as opposed to grazing. Either option will do the pup no harm, as long as the food is good quality then how you feed it isn't an issue. Generally puppies will eat till they are full then leave it, weight and condition at 14 weeks is also not an issue.
