Vim pretenders are easily found out .

I'm sure Vim has little need for my input but I don't think his is pretending, them deer are definitely either fast asleep or very much dead ;)

John

Anyone can kill the odd deer mate .Pretenders are those that think they are good at it ,that they can lecture others as to best practice. The silly ,inexperieced deer will fall to anyone with a rifle .Consistancy is what makes for the real deal and a quiet unassuming nature to the man ,someone who dosnt shout about what he does or tell others they are doing it wrong .Advise is given when asked not when deemed needed .

You will meet a few of these genuine lads throughout your life but most like to tell you how good they are before you can judge for yourself .They in my eyes are the pretenders .

although i know some game deelers ask for the offal ,..i have never been asked to produce it with shot deer ,thats there problem not mine ,he is the one licenced to ,,sell the meat not me so the ownuss is on him ,not me to inspect the cascass,my job is to kill it in the most humane way ,prefrably with a head or neck shot ,and will be paid more for forthat than body shots as will most :whistling:

So do you fill in the necessary paperwork at this 'dealers'mate or is it cash there too .As for the shot position making a difference to the price paid ,your being told lies mate .The only part of a carcass on a roe which is used intact is the saddle, back legs and backstrap together ,The rest is sausage meat .

Fox dropper sorry to rain on your parade mate but the facts are the facts and if you have passed you Lev one and Two stalking certificate and have done your meat hygiene the pluck dose not need to go to the game dealer. WILL I REPEAT MY SELF TO A SELF APOINTED PRO. PS There are still obligations that lie with the deer stalker like reporting anything that is not one hundred percent. If any of the glands for instance don't show the right colour texture etc then you need to report it but not to the game dealer to the head vet. This is a european law and covers the whole of Europe so please don't give it the (at your neck of the woods ) It might be time you sat some of these exams if only to stop being a mess about deerwalker.

If thats the case then i oppoligise for being nieve.I can only comment on what im told at my own dealers .Maybe the fact that i dont have the exams means im obliged to take the pluck in ,something that ive not considered but then again the pluck appears with all carcasses whether the shooter has the ticket or not ?.Do spot checks not apply to you boffins ?If the vet asked for the pluck to a beast which they ARE entitled to do whether you are a boffin or not ,would you be able to supply it or would you take in any old pluck just to satisfy him .

WIREVIZ-intelligence is hard to hide- does not make sense, not to an intelligent chap anyway :boogie: .

Vim you will upset the BOY'S with more evidence of deer grassed !

Your premonition was correct Coldweld in fact so much so that the moderator "Sounder" felt the need to block my user name Uim??

It must of been my aggressive postings in this thread  read back everyone and see..

Drooper`s treated differently because he`s a special boy with special needs, lol.

You refer to me being a poacher :D cowboy and pretender?? No i don't think so..

Whats more to the point here is the fact that your suffering from the taste of sour grapes pal which is kind of sad for a grown man like yourself..

All the carcasses i submit are tagged and on that tag the information states the sex of the beast, type and location shot. It also has my level 2 qualification number and a declaration stating that i have inspected the head, pluck and Viscera for any abnormalities. So there`s no need for submitting Offal because i`m qualified to inspect :D

The distinct problem were having here is that the picture of inexperienced Deer you shoot and the picture`s of inexperienced Deer i shot are viewed completely different.

Ask yourself why Vim :icon_eek:

I await the removal of ranger V,lol.

Im in no doubt you are fully qualified to inspect a carcass ,its the rest off the shit that accoumpanies your posts that anoys me and many others , the snide comments attached.Get over this and you may not need another user name before Christmas ,what you on now ,10 different user names ,says it all . The need for all those exams you and others have been conned into taking sort of palls into insignificance when you think that i do the very same filling in of tags with no initial outlay and all perfectly legal and within european law .Gets stuck in your throat a bit dont it :clapper:

Anyway you have a good Christmas and dont concern yourself too much with what im shooting :tongue2:

PS Happy christmas to all .

Just thought i would put my penny's worth in :whistling: before you can shoot on Forestry ground or lease ground in Scotland, you must hold DSC 1&2 and your hygiene is put to the test in your level 2, as for the plucks when you have your DSC 2 you do the Inspections ect, saving the game dealer time, if you find anything suspect you have to report it as other people have stated in reply's before this one, I know this because me and the guy's in our syndicate had to do 1&2 because we lease ground from Forestry commision or did, dont anymore
