Just a word to the wise. http://blog.mlive.co..._were_amer.html Dogs in fatal attack were American bulldogs Police said Gierlach was mauled to death in his front lawn of his home, across the road from where the dogs lived. Harper, a grandmother and retired school bus driver, was killed while walking along the gravel road and her body was found along the shoulder, west of Gierlach's home. West highland terriers have killed in this country mate, you cant blame a whole breed for a select few attacks, its the people at the other end of the lead in my eyes. To add if you own aNab, i would reccomend pup classes at the earliest of ages and see it through, you will be amased at how more equipped these classes make you. Great looking bunch mate , your dogs are a credit to you and you are right obedience classes are a great base , its a shame more people dont put in the effort you obviously do as there would be very few dog incidents if they did, atb phil
bullmatt 5
the thing is phil you can do the socializing and obediance as a pup but if you slack and give an am bull an inch they will take a mile and then you have trouble,as you know they need a strong fair pack leader to keep them in check. a breed not for the weak willed,
hagar 5
that is very true especially with the males , they are great characters tho , its a shame so many wanna bees have been attracted to the breed , i have some great memories of mine
