BULLDOUG 199
I have my own line of Stafford mate, i wanted an American bulldog thinking it might be the legasl pitbull, oh boy was i wrong. I would advise you to do your homework mate and listen to your head not your heart. There are very little AB'S in this country that are worth owning IMHO. IF ITS SOMTHING YOU STILL WANT AFTER YOUR STUDY, I WILL GIVE YOU A PHONE NUMBER OF A COUPLE IN DERBY WHO ARE HEADING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION WITH THE BREED. But theres a lot of puppy milling scum who are breeding train wrecks as well so be right on your guard mate. Ive seen some nice ABS BUT SO MUCH SHIT. The one thing the AB taught me was how good my staffords are. ATB BULLDOUG
hagar 5
Ive had a fair bit with them , i no longer keep them as i lost my last one a few months back due to long term inherent skin problems, my advice is dont get one , but if you do use a very reputable breeder be prepared to pay high, as you get what you pay for , beware of temprament issues , i found johnsons to be people mean over sized clumsy etc, hybrids (johnsonxhines)to be very high drive good workers but can be people mean too, pure hines or scott type seem to have a nicer nature and good drive too also a smaller size , these are only my own opinions from hands on experience with only some of the breed and not a complete study of the entire breed so probably you will get different opinions from others , but again with kids id say dont do it, also these dogs need a firm trainer as can be stubborn and willfull, but if you want one join abuk ,abruk ,velvet and steel, etc as these guys are really in the know and you will need to do some research before choosing, a bitch is normally the best choice too, hope this helps atb phil

The best mate, they have some fine dogs for sure. My staffs are my own line buddy, just me and the wifes little terriers bred for the right reasons buddy not show pigs. Very drivey freaky lil fookers. We are planning our sixth and seventh generation now, i started with them when i was 16, now 35 and wouldnt swap them for the world. They could compete in any comp at any level (big words i know but big hearts) ATB THE DOG

leegreen 2,181
What you need to ask yourself is why do you want/need one. Maybe there is another breed that is more suited to your needs. I have Presa x's and they are an excellent breed very steady, loyal, good with kids and good at everything I have needed them for. And there is a good few breeds out there that I'm sure will suit your needs.
