The Badger 4
Nice one matey but think you'll findthat's a weasel fella, my birds 1st kill was one, hell of a set of nippers on them, had hold of my bird by the top of his leg, no injury thankfully. Ste. Quote Link to post
The Badger 4
Measure it matey that will tell you for sure. A stoat is approx. 30cm long A weasel is 17cm to 21cm. Quite a substantial size difference, my bird has had both and both stunk, bird smelt of it for a couple of days after, personally thought the stoat gave more of a fight, but not as much as my ferret gave when my mates bird grabbed it as it came out of a rabbit hole, that to gave one hell of a smell of too. Let us know for sure what it was then fella? Ste. Quote Link to post

Yes, really sharp teeth that lock on like a Pitbull, i just shoved my priest in the gap in its mouth while it was locked on to birds leg then just prised it off then bird got a decent hold with its bitten leg, didn't last long after that. Out with cast of birds tomorrow down in Macclesfield with couple of ferrets on some untried 300+ acres, hopefully it will be a productive day. Take care fella, Ste. Quote Link to post
