JohnGalway 1,043
Might help people if you gave them an idea what it is you're doing while out.

JohnGalway 1,043
For shooting I got a nice enough pair of lined leather gloves. Thin enough not to get in the way and just thick enough to keep my hands relatively warm. I wouldn't have them for beating though and don't think they'd cut it in the waterproof department for fishing. I hope the seal skinz gloves are better than their socks! country-kid 2
just ordered meself a pair of macwet shooting gloves. body heat dries them out and their leather sooo worth checking out!
littletimmy 71
Northface windstoppers are the best gloves ive found for warmth. Can sit out the window doin 20-30mph in the minus's and feel no cold as long as they are kept dry. Ones wet though they are shit. They tolerate light rain but nothing too heavy. ratattack 111
Proper wool gloves will be warm and if they get wet can be rung out and will still be warm unlike many modern materials. Theres also neoprene gloves which will also be warm when wet or dry.
david2363 42
Got some neoprene ones from here http://www.clearlake.co.uk/feltons/listing.asp?Product_Sub_Cat=Gloves £11.99 very impressed with them. They also do Sealskinz at £14.
Annmarie09 5
I have a pair of neoprene gloves for riding the horse, out with the dog etc and they are the best gloves I ever had. Nice and warm but not bulky so you can still feel what you're doing. A tip for if your hands are going to be cold but dry is a thin pair of cotton gloves under whatever other gloves you are wearing really helps. They are quite commonly available for use by people with skin conditions, for cafe staff etc.

chartpolski 24,127
Get mine off a mate who's on the rigs; "Rhino" is the trade name. Leather outer, fleece inner, best gloves I've ever had ! Cheers.
