oakey 57
Why do they make the top of a water bottle so small if it was like the top of a jar you could clean it easier or is it the same company make bottle brushes? Quote Link to post
Marksman 934
why would you need to clean it?? They should have fresh water every day to avoid contamination/algae etc hence no need for cleaning the bottle Darryl Quote Link to post

Guest hunterside
all you need is some small gravel, put a small amount in the bottle with some warm water and shake the scourering action of the gravel gets the algee off so theres no need for any type of chemical cleaner i do this with mine . Tug 168
Dirt cheap bottle brush from Tesco (value range one is about a quid). Bend the brush so it's "L" shaped at the top, make the bend the same length as from the hole to the edge of the bottle and it's a piece of cake to clean both the neck and the base... Simples. Hob&Jill 258
I dont get much algae in my bottles as they are in a shed and dont see much light but i cant for the life of me work out why it would be bad? Do polecats in the wild have access to fresh decontaminated tap water? more like ponds, puddles etc. Quote Link to post
