After using a mates T3 Lite I would say its a better option if you will use it on foot a lot. The Remington 700 Tactical weighs a ton, it is a good and accurate rifle but is not designed with day long walking in mind. Everything else in the Rem 700 range is lighter. Yes, absolutely, if you spend a lot of time on foot the T3 lite wins every time over the Rem 700 Tactical, but there are plenty of other Remingtons to look at!! Agreed there are plenty of other 700's in the range, just dont buy the heaviest one like I did and then add a scope, mod, bipod and a lamp. Nevermind its better than going to the gym. adamthomas64 1 Posted January 8, 2010 Author Report Share Posted January 8, 2010 thanks alot lads much appreciated well ive decided on my first buy which is going to be a cz452 .17hmr silhouette with a harris bi- pod sak mod and a hawke night eye scope, picking it up next friday so ill post pics when i get it, and when i get the centre fire i think i will be going for the tikka t3hunter with harris bi-pod schmit and bender scope and p8 compact moderator, thanks again for all your help, pics to follow Quote Link to post
