BEARINATOR 2,867
You shouldn't put one on a spring gun as the recoil will make it jump, so affecting your point of aim Quote Link to post
wuzzy 0
if you try the search function this has been discussed a lot of times with very well explained reasons not to put a bi pod on a springer Quote Link to post
Phantom 631
However, (although I wouldn't put one on a springer) There are those who do and they learn to shoot consistantly with one I however would say instead of a bipod, fill a bag/sock or what ever with sand and rest it on that when shooting prone. Having said that I have only ever shot a springer from standing, no sorry I tell a lie, I did shoot one from kneeling once. Phantom Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
OK, as with so many things there is no right or wrong answer! Shooting a springer from a Bipod does have an interesting effect but if you work on it you can make it happen and it will be more consistent than you think. It needs practice and almost constant Bipod use. If you are an occasional springer shooter, and an even more occasional bipod springer shooter you are probably wasting your time and money with one!!
