hw35

been offered a hw35 but im not familiar with this gun so i was just wondering are they any good and what would you pay for one in good condition with 19" barrel with no scope cheers

The HW 35 is still going strong, it is a classic, fantastic reliability, engineering and accuracy for a full powered springer. A new one these days is about £225 from a traditional gun dealer. My now uses my HW35, I have had it for about five years and never had any problems with it. I use RWS Super Hollow Points for hunting and I have to say it it very effective up to 35+ yards. That is more my limit than the guns.

 

I can manage groupings of 12mm prone at 35 yards almost as good as my PCP.

 

My son and I use it mainly for vermin control and its ceretainly taken care of most critters without any problems.

 

I cant advise on what to offer, but it is certainly a good weapon.

there was one at one of my local gunshops second hand for £99 should have bought it thinking about it but they are top quality guns

Had one as a teenager used it everyday,plinking & shooting ferals in dockyards,railway lines,etc...all the places you would be instantly be arrested now .Good reliable gun,great trigger unit,mine had a liking for Superdomes .22.However after using a PCP for a while now i would'nt be able to hit a barn door with a springer

never used a 35. but can tell you if its hw then your getting quality.

ive said it before, but if i was getting a springer it would be hw99s. atb
