How do you stop the drinking water from freezing?

What with all this cold weather and the fact that yesterday both my drinkers were frozen i was wondering what you can do to prevent it?

I have at the moment wrapped some pipe insulation around the outside, any other tips?

Add a pinch of powdered gelatine to the water: won't hurt the ferrets at all and stops the water freezing.

take the bottles in side at nite and replace in morning mate
