whippeter69 88
Hi guys, just a quick topic. I thinking about getting a remington 1100 12 bore this week end, on in the local for £295 iv heard a lot of good things about these guns and was wondering if anyone has any tips or warnings about this model of shogun ? If so could you bang them up, should i go for one or pick another brand of semi ? Quote Link to post
linde 17
I used to own one, would get lots of jams at first. But someone told me to clean the action with some WD40 after each use and from then on had no problems. Hope this helps Andy Quote Link to post

MrYou 0
Give them a good looking over, as most semi's are easily strippable, with plenty of accessable spares....remmington however are in short supply, as getting things from the USA is harder & harder..so dont pay too much for one unless its mint.(£200 tops) NOTE- check where the cart tube fits the reciever,(under the wood) if it cracks (& they do ,if used heavily) its a scrapper, as its silver soldered in..unlike most are screwed into place..& will cost an arm /leg to fix !! IMO avoid them, get a Franchi/ or modern Beretta Quote Link to post
