terrierist 1
Hi everyone. I have just returned home from picking up my first lurcher. She is a bedlington whippet and is 14m old. I have always wanted this breed of lurcher and am over the moon with her! The guy took me out out for a walk up with her and she was very impresive!! I have ran terriers all my life and i am now very excited about this new edition to my pack. She is yet to be trained on the lamp so I will soon be picking all your brains as to which is the best one to get for rabbiting and any tips on getting her started! All the best Neil. tezzz 0
i have a 18 month old beddy whippet, had since 8 week old, teaching her the ropes was good fun, good quick learners, and now she is every thing i want, very obediant, very fast, catches, retreives back to hand, top with ferrets, good with live stock, good on the lamp, well house trained, she is growing up to be a top class dog, shes not seen hare or red yet, so just have to be patient and see what shes like on them, fingers crossed she wont let me down, but apart from all that, beddy whippets are a top dog and would recomend to anybody, ATB Quote Link to post
