Swampy 147
Put me down!!! An act of euthanasia is sure to get the attention of the media! Well volunteered rgds Swampy suicidalning With the week I am having that sounds like an attractive proposition. Save it for the march. Any preferred methods? The budhist method of petrol and a match seems a bit self indulgent not to mention H&S issues with the general public and spectators. However it would need to be reasonably extravagant to maximise public attention. Its only Tuesday FFS........it can only get better. dodger 2,754
Yep lets ride the gauntlet together, even if we dont get back what we have lost "which to be honest i dont think will ever happen anyways" but we can make them think twice about putting that final nail in the coffin, this countrys been gettin f****d over for a while now but just look at the way its gone tits up more an more over the last few years or so, rabbiters safe, no feckin way are we, i wouldn't be at all surprised if in the next few years countryfile will do a show on people ferreting an lampin rabbits "potrayed in the same light as the coursing episode last week"

Brgds Swampy Executionalning How about me being beaten to death by a New Labour apparatchik? They could beat me to death with copies of the Hunting Act and various other tomes of onerous legislation. Catcher 1 639
First of all I attended all the march's and rallies in London, was at Parliement Square, Brighton and Inverness plus the March on the Mound in Edinburgh I also attended the last Waterloo Cup and the Declaration for Hunting day!!! I'm fully supportive of any action that will help and that includes taking part in action that draws attention to unjust laws in relation to any anti-hunting legislation The only negative's I can see at the moment? is lack of organisation and numbers. In the past we should have carried on the momentum and closed the streets and commerce down in London and other areas by marching during the week instead of week-ends There is also the situation of unruly behaviour and lawlesness at any demonstration? this is a situation that has to be avoided. We may have lost some aspects of hunting to the anti's but in the past pro-hunt supporters gained a reputation for organising some of the most peaceful civil demonstrations this country has ever seen! and thats a reputation I'm proud to be part of!! I'm not sure if another march would achieve anything but I'd love to!! and be most willing take my place again with the same friends as before! As Clarissa said in a personal dedication in a first edition of one of her books "]"See you at the barricade's, Tom"[/b] Tom Ps: I'd love to walk down the street in an English town again wearing my kilt and foxmask sporran and get another pull from a big copper telling me part of my national dress was offensive (Fox Sporran)and then nearly finding himself at the centre of a complaint for being offensive by his racially motivated comments? He was'nt really being racist he just overstepped the mark re: the sporran, the second cop to do so I reckon the copper was right! I get offended when I see a bloke in a skirt! Bestest Regards And said in "the best possible taste" (RIP Mr Everret) Swampy Englishning Swampy you moaning old git.Just for that.I will wear my skirt and you can hold my hand  But mind no ninging.Never give out on the fisrt date
mcass123 6
i am up for it and will bring a good number with me, my opinion would be to have it somewhere around the borders, that will suit folk travelling up and down the country, i would also need some notice. a p.m to everyone thats going to be there would be good, this will stop all the nosey guests from knowing anything. dont think we should bring dogs in case there are any fights and the anti mob get photos and start saying the dogs are dangerous etc etc etc mcass123
david2363 42
Mushroom As you only live round the corner from me, if your marching past here - drop in and pick up my dogs, they could do with a long walk.
mexlad 189
A march may make a difference, but the last one didnt so im not gonna hold my breath, ill be there mind you, garuntee that! But! Surely a HUGE hare coursing event would make a few more arses twitch! Land owner would be completely inocent as he 'obviously' would have no idea or control. And how the hell can the police lock up god knows how many thousand coursers and beaters? If we all made a stand like this and was willing to make the sacrifice then surely we would be recognised for who we really are and not just a minority of 'working class dog men'. Even if all we did was a mock up, no dogs intentionally slipped, but on a scale never seen before? I just cant see a march making any difference other than a few headlines. But ill be in support whatever happens. At least your trying to do something pal Aye lad an I'll be hung up like Wat Tyler for organising it. :11: the peasant's march led by Mushroom :aggressive:
