ferretville 69
Me and my mate headed off to his permission today travelling light with a bag of purse nets and quickset 4 ferrets and a dog. Quick cuppa and chat with keeper and him giving us a brace of pheasants each we said our goodbyes and headed off. The wooded copse that we did first . First dig lol Bagged 13 from the copse really enjoyable along time since i ferreted woodland. Moved around the corner to a nice double sett. Me mate netted up the bottom whilst i did the top . He entered his 2 ferrets whilst i entered mine in the top . Not long and he had 2 in the bag not looking so good for me . Slowly the rumbling started at my end and the first express train it the nets . Suddenly i had rabbits bolting all over i managed 7 out of the top sett. Moving on we reached a 5 holer nets on and ferret in . Whoosh another 2 hitting the purse nets Headed off to sum more setts along the bankside Took a couple more from this sett so moved along . Bagged a few more mini rockets before deciding to call it a day and a thoroughly enjoyable one at that . We finished with 28 fat rabbits lol heres the end of day pics . I also bagged these 2 yesterday whilst out for a hour . A nice change from doing bloody hedgerows i can tell you . Hope you have a great xmas and even better new year yours in sport FV Quote Link to post

There spun poly hilly Thanks will have to look on ebay I guess, I have the green nets but I use yellow pegs to make sure they dont get lost but the ones you have look alot better. Prob a silly question but if the rabbits sit in the hole before it bolts then would the yellow nets not put them back into the hole. Sorry for the questions but I,ve not been at it long Quote Link to post
