MACRORIE 1
How you doing lads am looking for some advice on either boots or wellies in the past av had hunter balmoral wellies and found their ok but my feet get rather cold and they always seem to wear away quickly inside at the heel and this causes blisters which are really annoying when your out hunting, I would like something that's 110% waterproof, warm and comfy! My budgets around £-100 any advice welcome lads thanks! Atb Darren Quote Link to post

andyz 30
I was fortunate enough to be bought a pair of Le Chameau Chasseurnord wellington boots, to be honest they are expensive but well worth the money. I think mine were about £200 just over 3 years ago. I have worn them nearly every day with a pair of long socks underneath and apart from the zip breaking (my fault for never keeping the zip free of mud) they are still going strong. Feet are always 100% dry, very warm and very very comfortable. Even thought the zip has broke they are still 100% waterproof so no need to replace. Although as soon as I have the money I will. £200 over 750 days wear (approx) - 0.26p a day, just worked out I would have walked over 3750 miles in these boots, no blisters, just comfort. Well worth the money..... Andy Quote Link to post
killa-combo 142
£200!! some people have more money than sense...i used to buy dear ones and i would wreck them in 3 or 4 month so now go for a £10 pair and a pair of thermal socks its the way forward in life Quote Link to post
NorthernIreland 0
get a set of toggi boots, ive a few pairs, they are brilliant in my opinion, they do the job are warm tough wearing and reasonably priced, 60-100 quid. worth it in my opinion. ever considered a good set of fell boots, lowas, hanwags or meindles with gaiters, know they dont have the water height factor that wellies do but are more workable to be honest i feel. all the best n.i Quote Link to post
