ghostlyease 17
She has just turned 5 months old and we are enjoying her funny ways very much, nowhere near as tolerant as the Staffords but will do anything if she thinks she will get something out of it, clever little girl and keeping my 12 year old out of trouble too at the mo, all good!!! Last weekend when I was out my 12 year old decided to have a private photoshoot on our bed Still very good pics......... We took Tips to visit friends who have some Borders, she slept all day the next day. She is a pretty good guard dog too. A pic of her at one of her first ACES days in Sept And another of her at the November day a few weeks back. Coming along a treat Quote Link to post

ghostlyease 17
Totally aware this isnt the sort of forum that just likes to look at pics and comment on a nice looking dog or a pretty puppy, but for me this is a nice medium for people who are interested in keeping tabs on this little girl, I have a thick skin and im aware many think what we do with our dogs is tosh and nonsense, their opinion, at the mo Tips is playing and having fun, she runs down the field and very much enjoys a very varied life outdoors doing what our Staffords do, come next year she will come out with us, sometimes with the guns and sometimes without, who knows how good she will turn out but I have a sneaky feeling she will do us proud. We're still working on that. I think if a dog is treated solely as a tool and shut out the way most of the time, both dog and owner miss out on something. I've met Keeley and her dogs (including Tips) and the work she and her friends do with breeds which have a "difficult" reputation with the public is well worth looking at. Why "despair" of a decent thread with good photos? Seems a shame. Quote Link to post

david2363 42
I'd rather read one of Liams posts than a thousand like this. And it's bollocks to say all working dogs don't get looked after or socialised. Nice pup though. Quote Link to post
ghostlyease 17
pup looks well very much like her mother kept 2 dog pups myself both wanting work already seen a couple of rats good luck with her We have to be very careful with her when we are down the field, so much there for her to get into trouble with, she stays on the lead down there just to be sure! love walking her through the woods next to the field and see her so very focused, we have permission there and all round for some distance so its only a matter of time for her, when she is ready. She is growing steadily, is pretty social with other dogs depending on their dominance as she likes a steady dog and wont entertain submissive animals and she is clean and quiet, we are really happy with her, im pleased your happy with her progress too. Nice to hear your boys are doing well Quote Link to post
