Mr Hunter 31
ok lads just wondering are wheaten terriers any good for hunting cover, ditches etc? thanks bill. The Dam of my pup was a pure Wheaten and the sire was a Wheaten x Bull (pictured) both worked cover very very well and are used on fox drives in Cumbria. So from what little i know i would say yes! 1 Quote Link to post

Mr Hunter 31
nice dog mr hunter did they sound when they were hunting or were they mute? Im unsure but was invited out to watch them both @ work and when spoke to owner of sire he said his work bushing etc was second to none.I have numbers of both lads if you want to ask them any questions as they will know a lot more than me.I know the dams owners used her for flushing to their Bull x's they had and they lived on a farm with plenty of woodland right out in sticks near Penrith Quote Link to post
