i was thinking of getting a 1st x saluki grey hound was just wanting to see what yours have turnd out like pics will be apprecieated thanks jedandlevo :thumbs:

 

 

i had a 1st x saluki grey, rescued him at 4 months old and had him until he was pts at 10yr old was the best dog i have ever owned he would take anything at all pre ban and his last catch was a big roe, heres some pics of him r.i.p tyson atb...daks :)

saw several genuine first crosses they were good dogs but not saw any for a while not genuine saluki dog over good greyhound ,i had no complaints with mines and would go thru abrick wall to catch his qaurry

 

ha ha ha ha mine too mate, he once coursed a hare around the field (back before the ban) the hare ran head on into a dry stone wall the dog followed it oh man did i cringe i thought he was a gonner!! he jumped back up grabbed the hare, tore it apart which he never ever did before this he was really soft mouthed and then started howilng like he was dying lol i checked his head neck soulder as he was lifting his paw up i was proper panicking, turns out he had thorn in his stopper and that was it!!! removed it and away we went lol funy how things pop into your head when you read litte comments, anyhow i will be going to breed my pure saluki when older "IF" he is a decent worker! (if hes crap then no way will i), to a pure greyhound or bull grey as i like saluki grey 1st crosses and saluki bull greys (racy not stocky).
