suggs 0
am an amateur so .... depends if you have any protection. and how cold it is where you are garlic is said to be planted on the winter solstice, I am thinking the autumn onion sets that i forgot to plant could go in then as well, inside you can start herbs or winter lettuce or onions from seed. I did start tomatoes of in January once and kept potting them up until the plants that went in outside were already 3 foot tall if you have a tunnel/house winter lettuces and onions should still be alright, if it is anything like where we are this week, frosts, time to get out with the dog instead or do some digging and just found this December in the garden Edited December 14, 2009 by suggs
