AzMaN 0
Right now ive finaly steped up from the .22 rimmy up to a .223 and have brought myself a MTC viper scope, which is 1/8in at 100 on the turrets. now i neer usualy bothered with adjusting my .22 turrents as it was a pain and i had to keep taking the cap off and using a screwdriver so i used to use the dots as a way of telling me where to shoot. anyway back to the matter in hand, ive used the remmington balistic calculator thing to work out what will be the drop/rise of seting my zero at 200yards when using a 50yard range (needs to shoot .38 inches above). but i cant understand how you then adjust the click turrets for say if your out shooting and the target is 150 yards, the calculator says it will be 1.27in high but how do i work out how to many clicks i need to drop the scope by 1.27in???? make sense or have i just got everyone confused? bicykillgaz 1
why do you need to adjust it when your shooting that flat? barely over an inch high mid range why make it more complex than it needs to be?, if you aim for the center of a fox's chest or just behind front shoulder you still gonna kill it even if the point of impact is 1.27" high, i wouldn't worry mate Edited December 12, 2009 by bicykillgaz Quote Link to post

fensaluki 35
If your going to stick to between 100 & 200yrds for your live quarry I would suggest that you set your rifle at 1" high at 100 yrds and call it that and then set it up again totaly for your 600m targets. I think you will find it a lot easyer in the long run. Just my opinion though. ATB Quote Link to post
