dog shows

It's f*****g stupid, they can allow Muslims and Jews to circumcise their young boys for no good reason at all but when it comes to docking a tail it's this horrific cruel thing to do!

This country and the people that run it are soft in the head.

PS. Best of luck with the pup.

Ithink its only the kc that have restrictions, so as long as the show is not run under kc rules you will be ok

It's nothing to do with the Kennel Club!

The ridiculous law is that, in England, you can't have dogs docked after 6th April 2007 (I think!) at events where the public have paid an entrance fee.

the LAW in england...and nothing whatsoever to do with the KC, its THE LAW :wallbash: is that as long as there is no payment on the gate for an entrance fee, then you can show it if its legally docked after the ban. if there is a paying gate then you cant! This is why most hunt shows ask for a voluntary donation rather than charging a set entrance fee on the gate.

It may be shown where the public are charged a fee, so long as it is shown “only to demonstrate its working abilityâ€.
