borntoshoot 1 Posted December 11, 2009 Report Share Posted December 11, 2009 hi all, got my ferrets at last, making better hutch next week sometime aqnd what i want to know is is it ok to use shredded newspaper for bedding? i have been using tissue paper and normal paper and small bits of corrigated card cut up for the last week. so does anybody use newspaper? borntoshoot 1 Posted December 12, 2009 Author Report Share Posted December 12, 2009 ok thanks, i think i will use newspaper and i will also chuck a few jumpers and things in there aswell. they have an old pair of kids trousers in with them at the moment with the legs cut off and shredded up and the waist/bum bit whole like a bag and the curl up and sleep huddles up in that top bit. It lasts for ages and is really cozy for the little stinkers. Its not itchy its like the stuffing out of a teddy or something ,they love it. Just chuck it out when its smelly. Quote Link to post
