The rabbbits make a hell of a mess in the structure of railway banking, leaving the aurthorites no options.... its the easiest and fastest way to spread mixi, on a railway line!!! it can travel hundreds of miles without any obstruction!!!! whin 463
been asked by farmers told them to bolt , as im not into watching ahumble rabbit die you can snare a fence line ,long net it, shoot it, lamp it ,got a mile and ahalf of railway and ive got the rabbits down to a managble amount , spreading the diseas is bad, better with wire netting and box traps as a last resort , if a farmer asked me to spread it i would say no way .and thats that and if he says youll lose your permision i would laugh and say do what you have to do ,il leave it at that as dont rate peole who spread needles diseas when there people willing to do it for money and sport and food Quote Link to post
runforyourlife 361
Railway banking are some of the hardest places to ferret, you cant dig, and a locator is rendered rubbish on the banking, as the metal, and thousands of bit of wire etc send them stupid, and will have you digging to alsorts... Wild_and_Irish 11
It's the warm damp weather that makes it so easy for disease to spread, if we had a dry summer there would be a lot more about Quote Link to post
neil r 1,884
Just got back from a new permission , didnt see a single rabbit over a couple of hundred acre.
