bullmastiff 615
Used to use a Red filter for spotting quarry then flip it up to run the dog but I lost it whilst out. I've noticed a big differance in the quarry. Their very lamp shy to white light, sweep too much of the field with the light then they all bugger off for home at once. Quote Link to post
nighteyes 275
you lamp the same land week in week out year in year out its a matter of having to use one fact, if i was to lamp my land without one id be lucky to get a run ,its not a matter of wanting to use one its a matter of having to, plus you try picking rabbits eyes up laid flat on winter stubble without a filter its not easy Edited December 11, 2009 by nighteyes Quote Link to post

bucky 11
i use the amber filter, you dont seem to loose as much of the beam as with the red and still gets them to sit a bit longer Quote Link to post
