stealthy1 3,964
Good shooting Z and pics. Just got my HW100 back today from germany and the fecker is still loosing pressure its exactly the same as before pissed off . The gunsmith is gettin back on the blower to weihrauch in the morning to play hell as it was away for 5 weeks and for it to come back the same no good. I want it replaced fecking sick and seriously considering getting a R10 to Why did the gunsmith send it to Germany? All HW repairs and servicing etc are done up here in Hull. I think he's pulling your leg buddy Phantom I was going to say the same, Hull Cartridges normally sort Weihrauch's? Quote Link to post

sibaldib 6
Nice shooting Si. You seem to be getting on with the HW100 very well indeed. Still can't believe some of the shots you pull off with a .22 - magic. Cheers Sib Quote Link to post
davyt63 1,845
Cheers Davy pal I wish you look mate. Si no look needed Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
Hi thanks guys The R10 and the Weihrauch are both excellent rifles mate but in my own experience the R10 is the far superior rifle. The weight, feel and the fantastic regulator on the R10 giving 180 full power shots in .22 calibre do it for me. Accuracy wise they are both the same and can shoot drawing pins easily at 30 metres, but none of them are as accurate as the FX Verminator was. Mindya saying that the FX was in .177. That gun accuracy wise was something else, pity the bloody thing leaked on me. Some people may like the lighter, quieter HW100KT more its just down to own preference really. I’m sure if you shot the R10 you would see what I mean. Reggaeman was given a go of mine and the first shot he shot the middle out or a 1/2 inch UNF washer at 30 metres without touching the sides of the washer I'm not saying that everyone could do that as Chris is an exceptional shot but the rifle is capable of doing it easily . Don’t get me wrong the R10 is quiet if you stick on a second silencer like i have done and its not that heavy, no more than a HW97K when the R10 is fitted with a scope, mounts and laser, and we all have managed to get on with a HW97K I am much more confident in taking 50 metre plus shots with the R10 than the HW. Tony, We will get you up in the Spring then pal to let some East Yorkshire lead fly I think that someone is defo pulling your leg Ferrett. Don’t take any crap from them mate if the gun is new demand a new rifle. The citizens advice will assist if need be. At £800 a rifle we can’t afford to be sloppy with gun shops. reggaeman 1
i remember taking that shot pal. probably down to how accurate the R10 is more than owt Chris Quote Link to post

Hi FV, I hope they can sort it out for you and quick sharpe I find it really facinating how a single gun shop can deal with the manufacturer and not the importer, who actually have the SOLE import and servicing rights in the UK perhap's they could sue HW for breach of contract. I'll have a word in the ear of someone I know That would surely be classed as a 'Grey Import' ? Must let Dave and Paul know they can deal with the HW instead of having to pay HC's prices Must admit HC do get a bit of stick up these parts for not doing things properly and taking their time when it comes to certain things. Perhaps I'll send my HW-70 for a full service cuz the alleged service it had from HC dont seem to have done much. Does your HW have a Hull Cartridge stamp/lable on it FV? Phantom Quote Link to post

Phantom No Hull Cartridge stamp or label on it mate like i say they deal direct with Weihrauch. They buy in x amount of guns and once there sold they order again. Same as AAs, daystate,BSA,Theoben,FX they deal direct. Very good gunshop they tell you how it is no bullshit so i no it will get sorted cheers FV Quote Link to post
rick12345 181
1 crow at 54 metres which flew 50 metres and then dropped out the sky, hit in the neck 1 crow at 48 metres which flew 100 metres and then dropped out the sky, hit in the neck Both the crows were very hardy birds and I think that from now on at distance I will have to take heart shots or head shots only . Funny how they manage to fly with just the nerves doing the work. I once shot a feral pidgeon at about 15yds in a barn in front of the stockman on one of my permissions. When the thing flew off he started laughing , we watched it through the roller shutter door, it only got about 20yds and fell out of the sky, then it was my turn to start laughing . Good shooting by the way. I was watching your vids on youtube the other day, they were quite entertaining. What is your permission? it looks like an mod base or something. Quote Link to post
