Can you just do one thing if you don't do anything else? That is accept other peoples advice about dog training or you will cock up big time. First of all get him into a dog training class and get him well socialised with other dogs and get him knowing who is his master. If you can't afford it then try and see if you can get into any very cheap terrier clubs and if you still can't afford it, then a dog is definately not for you. Good luck, but don't ruin the dog.

soon as the xmas period is over paddy will be in classes belive me i am not going to fail on paddy .

there is no shame in doing classes leanne. i took my plummer pup along to classes. it gets them used to being around other dogs of all sizes and breeds and ages. it just means that your trying to give the best start possible to the pup. i also beleive no matter how long someone has kept dogs, that every one will learn something of value from the classes. good look

at least i am honest about bailey and hold my hands up and say i messed up wonder how may of you would say that but i forgot everyone on here is perfect and never got rid of a dog then got another thats why in for sale it says things like swap my dog for a terrier or lurcher so im not the only one only god will judge me .not people on a hunting site
