You know full well that I plan to handload. So you keep on showing the results you are getting with your handloads in your new .204 just to upset me. And now you put up a picture of your gun, which is 'Kin Beautiful. One can go off people. My sig was meant as a joke but you are making it come true! More to the point, have you tried the 30gr Bergers on birds?. I know you mainly shoot fox but I would like to hear about the results of the really fast rounds on feathered quarry. Too many bloody seagulls round here! Ric Quote Link to post

Cant really see from the picture but you could drop a golfball in the hole. I havnt shot any birds with the 39grns SBKs yet. Im sure that they will make a hell of a mess, ive had a small rabbit with them and it just blew it in half I cant seem to get hold of any of the Berger hollow points. Im getting good results so will stick with them for now - i will try them in time tho. Also thats me pup Mylo. Cheers Edited December 10, 2009 by blackfox Quote Link to post

I had a bit of hassle with factory ammo but am now starting to tighten the groups, im still pretty new to this reloading stuff. I dont find much trouble with wind-drift. The scope im using is a Konus Mpro 8.5-32x52, please dont be put off its a very goos scope, ok its a little hazey at max mag but 32x is pretty intense, im usually around the 18-20 for general messin about. I also really like the blue illuminated mildot reticle. I did have a Docter 8-25x50 which was excellent in the day but the crosshairs were so fine that it was useless when lamping. Id really like a IOR Valdada tactical but just wondering how much better it would be if this is doing the job quite well. Guys in the US love it as a varmint rifle, hunting from gophers to cyotes, take a look on youtube Its great on foxes and any other vermin... have a butchers at some of my other posts. 204ruger.com has some good info See the pics of a couple of foxes taken with my home loads also a bit of grouping 6 at 120yrds on a windy day with the 39grn Blitz Kings.
